Happy Monday!
We hope everyone had great weekend! This weekend we basically lived off of food from the grill. Here is a run down of what we ate this weekend:
Saturday
Breakfast:
Quaker Oatmeal Squares with Blueberries, Peanut Butter Toast
Blast from the past breakfast here. We haven’t had Quaker Oatmeal Squares for years. These have just a touch of honey and taste great.
Lunch:
Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich with Bacon, Goat Cheese, and Honey Mustard, Grilled Asparagus
Here is a general rule for life: Always have cooked bacon in your fridge at all times. ALWAYS.
Dinner:
Grilled Hebrew National Hot Dogs with Caramelized Onions, Green Beans, Cottage Cheese, Watermelon
We saw a picture of a hot dog with caramelized onions in a recent edition of food network magazine and have been craving it ever since. These were pretty amazing.
Sunday
Breakfast:
Scrambled Eggs and Asparagus, Toast
Asparagus may sound weird for breakfast, but when it is paired with eggs it is awesome, trust us.
Lunch:
Leftover Grilled Burgers, Snyder’s Buffalo Pretzel Pieces, Watermelon
We had hamburgers on Friday night and still had a few left over, so we decided to warm them up for lunch.
Dinner:
Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, Potato Salad
Poor planning on our part. When we planned our hot dog dinner for Saturday night, we forgot that we were headed to a graduation party on Sunday night, where they were also serving hot dogs. Oh well…good thing everyone in our family likes hot dogs!
That’s all for this weekend. Have a great week and eat some amazing food!
