Happy Monday! It looks like the warm Iowa winter is officially done-for. It was cold and snowy this weekend, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying some great food! Here is what we ate this weekend:
Saturday
Breakfast: Cranberry Oat Bar, Chobani Champion, Coffee
The cranberry oat bars may or may not actually be a dessert, but we thought they looked good enough for breakfast.:) We have no idea where we got the recipe from, but we’ve had it around for a while. The Chobani Champions are supposed to be for kids, but we love to eat them when we don’t want a full yogurt (they are about half the size of regular Chobani).
Lunch: 1/2 Turkey Sandwich, Greek Salad
Dinner: Beef Tostadas, Dos Equis
Sunday
Breakfast: Cranberry Oat Bar, Banana, Coffee
Sarah and I lead worship at our church on Sundays, so we need to get there pretty early to set up and practice. Trying to get five people out of the house by 8:00 AM can be tricky, so we usually just grab a granola bar right before we leave. Then, before the service starts we will have some coffee and a banana.
Lunch: Cheese, Crackers, Apples, Peanut Butter
We knew dinner would be filling, so we just made this simple snack plate for lunch.
Dinner: Lasagna Soup, Salad, Bread
We had dinner at Sarah’s parents’ house. Sarah’s mom rocked some amazing lasagna soup, along with salad and bread.
Hope you all have a great week! We will be packing all week long. Two weeks until we move!
Love people. Cook them tasty food.

Is the recipe for the cranberry oat bars posted somewhere?
We looked for it online but cannot remember where it came from! I think we will make them again soon and get the recipe posted on here.
Whoa…I missed something. Where are y’all moving?
Grimes! The two bedroom townhouse is getting a little cramped for our family of 5.
